Archery Academy
Shooting Star Archery Academy offers a six-week program that will provide a safe & fun environment where students can develop at their own pace, practicing precision, proper form and promoting the joy and fulfillment that archery can bring. The archery program is a multi-session, progressive, instructional program conducted in six-week sessions. The program starts the archer at 5 yards distances and develops them up to 15 yards. Age groups are 6-12, 13-17 and adults 18+

Annual Egg Hunt
Annual Egg Hunt at Hanusey Park. Kids will be placed into groups based on age to hunt for eggs. All Children under the age of ten are invited to participate in this event. Remember to bring you own basket and check your eggs for prize slips. Event starts promptly.

Camp Plumstead
This is a one-week, half-day summer program held at Hanusey Park. The kids will enjoy sports, games & crafts both indoor at our community center & outdoor in the fields. Camp runs from 8:30 am – 11:30 am. Every camper will receive a free camp T-shirt. Age groups are 6 – 12 years old. (resident & non-resident rates).

Yoga in the Park
We have partnered with Stars Studios to offer this wonderful experience of yoga in the park. We are offering both a six-week program and a single session. Our Saturday morning session will be at Hanusey Park. In case of inclement weather, the sessions will be moved to Stars Studios 5870 Easton Rd. Registration is required.

Tennis Camp
Plumstead Township is part of the BCTA’s county-wide tennis network. This camp offers a variety of Seasons (Camp Dates), age groups and times. Camp dates run from March – October depending on which season you choose and age groups range from Pee Wees (4-6), Little Aces (7-10), Juniors (11 – 13) and Teen/Adults (14 and up). The camp will take place at Tohickon Middle School Tennis Courts.

Theatre Performance Training Camp
This is a one-week, half-day summer program held inside at the Hanusey Park Community Center. This week-long camp will explore acting & performances in a friendly, non-threatening environment. Monologues, scene work, acting, improv and musical theater on all levels. Camp runs from 9 am – 12pm. Ages 10 – 15 years old.

Multi-Sport Camp
This summer camp offers nine-week (s) of your choosing, both full-day, half-day & before-after care. Activities include but not limited to, basketball, floor hockey, scavenger hunt, field days, soccer, flag football, volleyball, baseball/wiffleball, kickball & dodgeball. Camp will be held at Hanusey Park. Age groups 5 – 12 year old.

Dance Camp
This summer camp offers six-week (s) of your choosing. The program offers both full-day and half-day options. The full-day option includes the morning session at Landis Park 8 am – 12 pm and the afternoon session at Stars Studios 12 pm – 4 pm (transportation can be provided between locations). The half-day option will be held in the morning at Landis Park from 12 pm – 4 pm. Age groups 5 – 12 years old.

Philadelphia Union Soccer Camp
We are partnering with the Philadelphia Union to provide a ½ day, one week soccer camp at Landis Park. Camp runs from August 1-4, Ages 6-14. The Union Community Camps are 4 days in duration, Monday - Thursday (with Friday being a make-up day if required) and would run from 9am-12pm at a low cost of $199 per player. Registration cost includes: the soccer camp, a Free Union camp T-shirt, a Free ticket to a Union game for the upcoming season (Parents can add discounted companion tickets), a chance to meet Phang the Union mascot and daily prizes and giveaways.

Movie Night
Our Park & Recreation Committee will be hosting a FREE Movie Night at Hanusey Park. Movie Date will be in June (date TBD) beginning at dusk. Don’t forget to bring your chairs, blanket and snacks.

Saturday Social
Saturday October 1 - 22nd, adults with disabilities will meet at Landis Park Pavilion for social fun and games with Coach Julie. Activities include dancing, singing, yoga-meditation, adapted sports, nature/animals and arts & crafts. There will also be an in person Q & A on Saturday September 24th from 12pm - 1pm at Landis Park Pavilion for anyone interested in the Social Club. Halloween Trick or Treat Event
FREE Halloween Trick or Treat Event at Hanusey Park. Plumstead Parks & Rec Committee will be hosting a FREE event for all children. Trick or Treaters will travel along the walking path and collect candy from local businesses. Event begins Promptly at 5pm. Annual Tree Lighting
Join us for our Annual Tree Lighting at Hanusey Park. Enjoy Holiday fun with family and friends, welcoming Santa and Mrs. Claus as they arrive on a fire truck and light the tree. Event will also have an Ugly Sweater Contest (don't forget to register), along with a Dance & Choir performance. Remember to bring your camera and get your picture taken with Santa. Stay tuned for more details to follow closer to the event.

Annual Giving Tree
Plumstead Township and Bucks County Children and Youth are working together to collect NEW items for local children in need. This event takes place every year between November and the beginning of December. We collect NEW hats, scarves, mittens & gloves both homemade and store bought. We also collect pj’s and books. Dropoff location is the Township building lobby.
