2025 Camps:

Social Club - 2025
Social Club for Adults with disabilities. This social event takes place on four Thursday's in January & February, from 4 - 7pm at the Hanusey Park Multipurpose Room (see flyer for exact dates). Adults will enjoy music, dancing, food and fun. Cost is $75 per session.

Archery Academy - 2025
Shooting Star Archery Academy offers a six-week program that will provide a safe & fun environment where students can develop at their own pace, practicing precision, proper form and promoting the joy and fulfillment that archery can bring. The archery program is a multi-session, progressive, instructional program conducted in six-week sessions. The program starts the archer at 5 yards distances and develops them up to 15 yards. Age groups are 6-12, 13-17 and adults 18+

Shooting Star Archery Academy offers a Summer Camp. This weeklong 1/2 day program runs from Monday - Friday, 9am - 12pm. The program is geared for archer's ages 6 - 17 with skill sets from beginner through advanced.

Action Karate - 2025
At Action Karate, we’re not just teaching martial arts; we’re teaching life lessons that will last a lifetime. Whether you're a parent looking to instill discipline and respect in your child, or an adult aiming to improve your fitness, mindset, and overall quality of life, Action Karate is the place for you. This is a special program with Plumstead Township Parks and Recreation and Action Karate Doylestown offering programs for ages 3- Adult. REGISTRATION $149: 4 weeks with uniform & private lesson (an instructor will reach out to the family to help schedule the first class when you register).

Soccer Shots Camp - 2025
Soccer Shots is offering soccer camps at Hanusey Park. Camps are broken into separate age groups from Mini to Premier, from ages 2 – 8 years old. Camps will be teaching fundamental soccer principals, such as using your feet, dribbling, passing and shooting. They also utilize an age-specific curriculum that develops skills and progresses with competitive play. Children are given the opportunity to be challenged through fun games and team competitions. Registration is by age group (see below).

Tennis Camp - 2025
Plumstead Township is part of the BCTA's county-wide tennis network. This camp offers a variety of Seasons (Camp Dates), age groups and times. Camp dates run from March – October depending on which season you choose and age groups range from Pee Wees (4-6), Little Aces (7-10), Juniors (11 – 13) and Teen/Adults (14 and up). The camp will take place at Tohickon Middle School Tennis Courts.

OT Athletics- 2025
OT Athletics Summer Camp offers a multi-sport program & camp to benefit children aged 5 – 12 years, physically, mentally, socially & emotionally. Their program introduces the fundamentals of 20 different sports (soccer, hockey, tennis, basketball, lacrosse, football, running, baseball, cheerleading & more) in a non-competitive environment. Children in OT routinely gain greater confidence and learn to combine fitness with fun. – This year they are offering two different camps, the All Sports Camp and the Eagles Flag Football Camp.

Camp Plumstead- 2025
This is a one-week, half-day summer program held at Hanusey Park. Camp week is 6/23 - 6/27 and runs from 8:30 am – 11:30 am. The kids will enjoy sports, games & crafts both indoor at our community center & outdoor in the fields. Every camper will receive a free camp T-shirt. Age groups are 6 – 12 years old.

Annual Egg Hunt - 2025
Annual Egg Hunt at Hanusey Park on April 12 at 1pm. Kids will be placed into groups based on age to hunt for eggs. All Children under the age of ten are invited to participate in this event. Remember to bring you own basket and check your eggs for prize slips. Event starts promptly.

Our Park & Recreation Committee will be hosting a FREE Movie Night on Friday, May 2nd, at Hanusey Park. Don’t forget to bring your chairs & blankets... Snacks will be sold at the Consession Stand.

Introduction to AI Class - 2025
Our Park & Recreation Committee has partnered to offer an Introduction to AI class on May 14th via Zoom. We are offering the class for seniors, adults & kids at different times. Community Yard Sale - 2025
Community Yard Sale at Hanusey Park. All are welcome to participate. Event will be held on Saturday, 5/17 and run from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, with set-up beginning at 7:00 am. Prior Registration is REQUIRED to participate in this event. Flyer: Click for Details

Sound Bath - 2025
Park & Rec are introducing a new event, Sound Bath by Stacey Friedman. This event features a gentle guided meditation followed by a 55 minute sound bath. This event is FREE but advanced registration is required. If you are interested, please email Duane Freed. Email Duane Freed

Community Day & Fall Movie Night - 2025
FREE event for all. Our Park & Recreation Committee will be hosting a FREE Community Day & Movie Night on September 6. The movie begins at dusk. Don’t forget to bring your chairs & blankets... Snacks will be sold at the Consession Stand. Both events will be held at Hanusey Park. ~ More details for this event will follow soon.

Halloween Trick or Treat Event - 2025
FREE Halloween Trick or Treat Event at Hanusey Park. Plumstead Parks & Rec Committee will be hosting a FREE event for all children. Trick or Treaters will travel along the walking path and collect candy from local businesses. Event begins Promptly at 5pm. After the event, the P&R Committee will hold a costume contest at the pavilion. - Hope to see you there!! Event will be held on Saturday, October 25. ~ Event flyer to follow soon.

Annual Giving Tree - 2025
Plumstead Township and Bucks County Children and Youth are working together to collect NEW items for local children in need. This event takes place every year between November and the beginning of December. We collect NEW hats, scarves, mittens & gloves both homemade and store bought. We also collect pj’s and books. Annual Tree Lighting - 2025
Join us for our Annual Tree Lighting at Hanusey Park. Enjoy Holiday fun with family and friends, welcoming Santa Claus as he arrives on a fire truck and lights the tree. Event will also have Philadelphia Bronze sponsored by Malmark & Choir performance by Tohickon Middle School. Remember to bring your camera and get your picture taken with Santa, we hear that he's ariving around 7pm. Event will be held on Friday, December 5. ~ Event flyer to follow.
