Police Organizations

Police Benevolence Association (PBA) - Made up of police officers, this organization was formed to promote the welfare of its members and to extend their sphere of usefulness within the community.  The PBA is known for its community assistance programs.  In addition, the PBA serves as the bargaining unit of the Township's Police Department.  The current president is Corporal Thomas Cuba.

Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) - The FOP was founded in 1915 and is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 321,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges.  They are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation.  Pennsylvania Fraternal Order of Police, Bucks County Lodge No. 53 serves the police officers of Bucks County and Plumstead Township.
